I'm so happy you have found your way to my 'About' page. It is always my favourite place on peoples' blogs (sorry rest of the blogs). It's so nice to heard about people, there interests and what they do.

So I hope this page doesn't disappoint you and now, on to the real proper page!

My full name is Naomi Jacqueline Gates. It's a long name and I normally just go by Mimi Jack. I don't really know how this nickname got started. I don't think it's quite normal to have your middle name in your nickname! Is it?

I come from a huge family. Like really, really big! I have six older siblings (I'm the youngest). I like having so many people around. There is always someone to talk to, play around with and go on a trip with when your friends are busy. Me and my siblings are close knit. We know about everything each other does and to be honest we prefer each other's company more than others'. (Not that we mind seeing other people, but if we could only see one or the other, we would pick each other).

I was born on one of my sister's birthday. She was two at the time. It is nice to share a birthday, but sometimes it can be a little bit annoying. Like you always have to talked about what you're going to do, you don't get the day to yourself and stuff like that. But on the plus side me and my sister are really close. Because of that sort of connection we are best friends. We do almost everything together and I bet we're closer than the closest best friends you can think of in any movie.

So onto my interests! First off, writing. I have been a huge writer for years. In my house people sometimes nickname me Jane Austen! Now my writing isn't anywhere near that good (it's pretty bad really), but I always wanted to do something with my hobby. I am reading up on writing and trying to learn all I can about it at the moment.

Another thing I like doing a lot is reading. There seem to be so many bookworms out there! I wouldn't go as far as saying that I read the most of anyone, but I must say I do read an awful lot of books. Sometime I will have to review some!

Photography is so fun as well. You know those sort of sparkly photos with the black backgrounds? I don't know if you do, but once I got took a perfect one of those. (I don't have an expensive camera). I don't think I can explain any better. Let's just say I love trying things out with my camera and live it at that.

I think that's all you want to hear about me, now I am going to tell you a bit about this blog.

As you can tell it's in it's very early stages. I am still learning everything there is to know about blogging and I haven't gotten too many posts up yet.

I am hoping to post my writing, stories and just life experiences here. Along with some other things. I don't know how well that will go, but it's a start.
