Hi! People know me as Mimi Jack. My real name is Naomi Jacqueline Gates, but its really long and I prefer Mimi Jack. (Jacqueline is my middle name if you're wondering)
I have been writing since I was quite little and recently I have been trying to find a way to share my writing with the world.
The best way it seems is to have a blog. So that's what I'm doing! I can't wait to share some of my work with you.
Now I don't really have a kind of writing style. I want to learn how to write poetry, but I haven't tried it yet. So at the moment I write short stories or whatever flows.
What I write probably doesn't make any sense and it probably isn't any good, but I enjoy writing it so much that I want people to enjoy reading it just as much(that just made no sense what's so ever).
So yes, that's the purpose of this blog(and it was very hard to explain). Now on to me. I guess that's what you are all wondering about and want to know. So here are some facts!
I come from Australia. It sometimes is annoying to be on the other side of the world from most of the other people on the internet because you are always out of things. Like while people chat about summer and sunshine, I am busy freezing. (that's happening at the moment)
I am the youngest in my family. I have six siblings. Big family means plenty of fun. Having so many siblings means that there is always someone to talk to and if you need to go somewhere there is always someone to take you (quite a lot of my siblings have their licences).
I forgot to mention earlier that I am thirteen. I was born on February the fourteenth. That is also one of my sister's birthday. I can just imagine what she thought when Mum had to go to hospital to have me on her birthday.
I enjoy reading, craft, writing, poetry reading and so much more. I hope I can share some of these things with you (without boring you of course). I am still learning about all these things and so I hope also to share what I learn.
Well that's all I can think to tell you about me. I hope this helps you get to know me a little. The only way to learn more is to keep reading this blog (which I hope you do).
